Handyman Service Areas Across Tiny Township
We work the whole township: more than 70 kilometres of Georgian Bay shoreline on the west side, the farm concessions and communities, and the edges of Midland and Penetanguishene to the east. We route jobs by beach so an opening at Balm Beach and a deck repair at Wymbolwood could potentially happen on the same day. Call us with your address and we can tell you when we can be there.
Balm Beach, Wymbolwood & Wahnekewaning
The centre of the cottage shoreline and our busiest stretch. The Tiny Cottager's published history dates Balm Beach's subdivision to about 1922 and Wymbolwood to 1927, which means a lot of the cottages here have been added to, winterized, and re-roofed by three generations of owners. Openings, closings, and property checks run here on a fixed route from April to November.
Woodland Beach, Bluewater Beach & Cawaja
Woodland was laid out in 1921, Cawaja in 1922, and Bluewater in 1926, by the same history. These are the beaches where the cottage-to-year-round conversions are thickest and where buyers ask listings about four-season insulation and heating. Door and window sealing, grab bars, and interior lists are steady work here, alongside the seasonal openings.
Thunder Beach, Cedar Point & the North Shore
The northern beaches and the roads out toward Awenda. Longer driveways, more trees over the roof, and more pine needles in the eavestroughs. Property checks here get grouped on the same day so the drive is covered, and we book deck and dock work for the calm mornings.
Lafontaine, Perkinsfield, Wyevale, Wyebridge & Toanche
The inland hamlets, where more of the housing is year-round and the median age runs high. Eavestrough schedules, grab bars, drywall lists, and sheds on larger lots are the common calls. Lafontaine is also where we stage from for the north shore.
Midland & Penetanguishene
The two towns on the east side of the township are inside our regular rotation at the same rates. We take the small jobs in town that the renovation contractors pass on, and we serve the Penetang and Midland owners who also have a place on the beach.
How Scheduling Works
Small repairs book within the week. Openings cluster in the three weeks before the May long weekend and closings in October, so book a month ahead for those. Scheduled property checks run on a fixed calendar from November to April, grouped by beach. Builds go in the shoulder seasons. Every job gets a written price and a date, and you get photos when it is done.
