Door, Window & Screen Repair in Tiny Township, ON

We fix doors that stick, screens that tear, or windows that will not stay up. This service is for anyone in Tiny with a cottage that spends half the year closed up and comes out of winter with something that no longer closes right, and for year-round owners who want the drafts stopped before the furnace runs again. You get doors that latch, screens that keep the bugs out, and a lower heating bill.

Why Cottage Doors Fight You in May

A door that closed fine in October could swell over a damp winter in an unheated building. A screen that mice chewed through in February lets every mosquito in from Georgian Bay by June. Weatherstripping that was good for ten years cracks after enough freeze-thaw cycles. These are small jobs we're happy to help with.

Door, Window & Screen Repair FAQs

  • Can you re-screen the frames we have, or do we need new ones?

We re-mesh the frames you have, aluminum or wood, with fibreglass or pet-resistant mesh, and replace the spline. New frames only when the old ones are bent or rotted. Bring the frames to the truck or we do them on the porch.

  • Can you install a new exterior door?

Yes, in an existing opening: pre-hung steel or fibreglass, levelled, shimmed, foamed, and trimmed. Cutting a new opening or enlarging one is structural work and needs a Township permit, so that goes through a contractor.

  • Our windows are original to the cottage. Replace or repair?

Repair first, unless the frame is rotted or the glass is failed. New balances, glazing, locks, and gaskets make a sixty-year-old wood window close tight for a fraction of the replacement price. When replacement is the right call we install in the existing opening and tell you what to order.

  • Do you change locks for new owners and rental hosts?

Yes. Deadbolts, handle sets, and keypad locks for short-term rentals, keyed alike across the doors if you want one key. Most rental hosts want a keypad so the code changes between guests.
