Drywall & Interior Repairs in Tiny Township, ON

We patch drywall, fix cracks, re-caulk tubs and windows, clean dryer vents, hang shelves and TVs, and work through the list of small things a house collects over a season. This service is for anyone in Tiny with a longer to-do list. We help you get the list done in one visit.

What Interior Repairs Cover

Drywall is the most requested handyman job in Canada on every list we have read, and it is most of ours too: doorknob holes, water-stained ceilings after the leak is fixed, cracks over doorways, popped screws, and the hole where the old thermostat was. Beyond drywall: tub, shower, and window caulking; dryer vent cleaning from the back of the machine to the outside hood; closet shelving; curtain rods; TV mounts into studs; towel bars that pulled out; and interior doors that do not latch.

The One-Visit List

Send us your list and photos. We can loop the price in as one visit. We would rather do twelve small things in a few hours than send you to twelve different people or companies.

Water Stains and What They Mean

A brown ring on a cottage ceiling is the most common drywall call we get in the spring, and the patching is the easy part. Before we open it we want to know whether the leak is fixed, as it could be an ice dam that backed up under the shingles in February, a flashing gap at the chimney, a supply line that wept over the winter.

Drywall & Interior Repairs FAQs

  • Can you fix the drywall and paint it the same day?

Not if you want it done right. Mud needs to dry between coats, so a patch is two or more visits depending on the size of the mud required.

  • Do you clean dryer vents?

Yes, with a rotary brush from the dryer to the outside hood, and we check the hood flap works. Lint in a long vent run is a fire risk and a reason the dryer takes two cycles. Once a year is right for a year-round house, and every opening for a rental.

  • Can you re-caulk a shower that keeps going mouldy?

Yes. We strip the old caulk out, kill the mould on the substrate, let it dry, and re-caulk with a mould-resistant silicone. If the mould is behind the tile rather than on the caulk line, that is a tile or waterproofing problem, and we say so.

  • Will you mount a TV on a cottage wall with no studs where we want it?

Yes, with a mount sized to the TV and anchored into studs, which sometimes means a plate across two studs to land the bracket where you want it.
